Ways you can help with the Operation Christmas
Child ministry:
1) --Pray for the children
who will receive our shoeboxes as well as the families and communities that
will be touched.
2) --Give
to help cover the shipping and handling of our boxes (Goal: $3000).
3) --Contribute
toys and/or socks, t-shirts, or underwear, size 3T to adult small for the
packing party.
4) -- Take
a shoebox home and pack it full of fun toys, school supplies, and personal care
items. Return it to the church by
November 18. Use the brochure in today’s
bulletin as a guide.
5) --Come
to the church-wide packing party on November 11, 10AM to 2PM, to help fill 300+
boxes.
Make plans now to attend our church-wide Thanksgiving
Dinner on November 19. You won’t want to
miss this great time of food and fellowship around the tables as we thank God
for all He has done in this past year.
Sign-up sheets will be available next week.
Ms. Shirley James went to be with the Lord she
loved this past Wednesday morning, October 25, around 2AM. We rejoice that she is worshipping in Jesus’
presence this morning though we are sorry that she cannot be here worshipping
with us. Funeral services were held
yesterday at Memorial Park.
