Ways you can help with the Operation Christmas Child ministry:

1)   Pray for the children who will receive our shoeboxes.

2)    Contribute filler items for boxes—ask Bethany if you need ideas or need her to shop for you.

3)    Pack a shoebox full of fun toys, school supplies, and personal care items.  Return it to the church by November 18.  Packing guidelines are available on the hall table.

4)    Come to the church-wide packing party this Saturday, November 11, 10AM to 2PM, to help fill 300+ boxes.  A light lunch will be provided for packers.

 

We received word this week that Sadie Doherty, retired CEF missionary in Ireland, passed into the presence of the Lord on October 4.  Pray for Sam, her husband and partner in ministry for 73 years, as he adjusts to life without her by his side.

 

Church Family:  Keep praying for me.  I miss the joy you share and the music and the sermons.  I think I stand out here because of how I act.  Just gotta stay true to my core values, because what is a man without core values.  Pray that I stay in the Word, continuously getting encouragement from it, and always doing God’s will.  I lean on Him now more than ever.  My faith has deepened and grown stronger because of the challenges I go through at Basic. –J.
