WEST AFRICA—ONCE I WAS BLIND (part 1)
Tim Keesee follows missionaries into
West Africa to see how the
Gospel is advancing from village to village.
Do you have leftover Christmas cards? Would you like to recycle the fronts of cards you received this year? We can use them for putting personal notes in our 2024 OCC shoeboxes. Bring them in to Bethany any time this month.
The DoorKeepers (grades 7 to 12) will meet this coming Saturday at 4PM for a fun time of fellowship playing table games. Bring your favorite games for some friendly competition. Food and drinks will be provided. We will finish at 7PM.

Friday, February 9, 7PM Friday Fellowship
We have a couple of recurring fellowship activities planned for this year. In odd-numbered months, we will have a ladies crafting activity where ladies can bring a craft project of their own to work on or work on a project for OCC shoeboxes while fellowshipping with other ladies (third grade and up). In even-numbered months, we will have a Friday Fellowship for any adults who would enjoy dinner together and an activity. These will range from potluck and table games to dinner out to bowling (or other activity) nights. Make plans to attend.
As preliminary discussions continue with our prayers for God’s wisdom,
Open Door has been invited by Evangel Church to join them for a fellowship
lunch at their church on January 14th, immediately after we finish our Sunday
morning service at Open Door. This will be a great opportunity for us to meet
their members and tour the campus at 262 N. Perkins Rd. What we learn will provide
helpful context for discussion during our annual church meeting on February 4. Evangel
will provide fried chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes and has asked that
we provide sides and desserts as well as provide them with a number of people
to expect. Please sign the sheets in the
hallway to help out.
