 Operation Christmas Child collection suggestions for February: bar soap, wash cloths, and Valentine themed stuffed animals, small toys, pencils, etc.  Place items in the wrapped box in the hallway.

 The 2024 Scripture Memory Challenge passage is Ephesians 4:25—32.

 We ask that everyone complete an information sheet for the church directory.  You don’t have to be a member—just a regular attender. If you have out-of-town family members who wish to be in the directory, please complete one for them also.  Please submit any missing sheets today.

On Sunday, February 18, we will host another Q&A after the morning service, this time with Roy Flora and Marc Clapp to answer direct questions about Evangel. This will help us learn more about Evangel as we prayerfully consider a merger with their church. Then on February 25, members of Evangel will join us for our annual Men’s Chili Cookoff at ODBC so we can fellowship together as a group.

The DoorKeepers (grades 7—12) will meet at Cordova Bowling Center, 7945 Club Center Dr., on Saturday, February 24, at 3PM for a fun time of bowling (and maybe some air hockey) followed by pizza.  We should finish around 6PM.  Please let Bethany Henry know of your plans to attend.

The Men’s Chili Cook-off is just around the corner on February 25!  The best chili in the Mid-South will be lined up in Wilson Hall, and we will all enjoy a great meal.  Please have entries here by 5:30PM; judging begins at 5:45 (anyone may volunteer to judge by taking a tasting plate); and we will all eat at 6.  Ladies, bring along chili fixin’s, sides, and/or desserts.  The winner will take home the Silver Spike Award for the year.
