The next LeaderTreks group will be arriving this evening, July 14.  Only one additional youth group is scheduled to be here the following week to experience discipleship training and ministry in an urban setting.  Make an effort to pray for them each day.

 

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse which uses shoebox gifts to open the door to the Gospel with children around the world, some in very hard to reach places.  If you are interested in learning more about how you can help the ministry of Operation Christmas Child in our church and in our city, talk to Bethany Henry or Debbie Stevens.  They are both on the River City team of year-round volunteers and would appreciate your prayers for the ministry and for them as they serve.  Financial gifts toward our church’s boxes can be given through the offering by marking your check “OCC.”

 

Ladies, make plans to attend our Crafting Activity on Saturday, July 20, as we continue to prepare items for our OCC shoeboxes this fall.  We have only one more Saturday after this to wrap up our projects.

 

Our DoorKeepers will be assembling at church on July 25 at 9AM to depart for Pigeon Forge.  They will visit Dollywood on Friday and return home on Saturday by 5PM.  Pray for safety and good fellowship.
