The morning service will be followed by a celebration luncheon in the fellowship hall. 

 

No Evening Activities will take place this evening.  Both the Adult Bible Study and the DoorKeepers Bible Study will resume next Sunday evening, August 25 at 5PM. 

 

AWANA will be back in session before we know it.  If you are interested in serving the Lord this way in the coming year, please let Daniel Jones know of your interest.  There will be an organizational meeting following the morning service on August 25.  Club will resume on Sunday evening, September 8. Start inviting young people who would benefit now. 

The DoorKeepers, our youth in grades 7—12, will meet this coming Saturday for their back-to-school activity.  Parents, please drop the young people off at the North Parkway location at 2PM.  We will be moving to the Perkins Road location for games, dinner, devotions, and a movie.  We plan to wrap things up at 8PM.  Pick up your young people at the Perkins Road location.

Have you ever wanted to see what it is like when a child receives an Operation Christmas Child shoebox?  Here is your chance!  The Riverview and River City OCC volunteer teams are working together to present a mock distribution at Faith Baptist, 3755 N. Germantown Rd., on August 24, 9—11AM. Two guests will speak that day.  One recently returned from a distribution trip to Ecuador, and the other was a shoebox recipient in Belize as a young girl.  You won’t want to miss their stories. Seasoned Saints, our monthly luncheon for our "seasoned" brothers and sisters in Christ (60+), takes place on the last Thursday of each month, January through October.  The next one will be held on Thursday, August 29; RSVP by August 22.  Please RSVP to Judy Hearne by text or phone call at 901- 827-5139. 

 

Ladies Bible Study is set to resume on Tuesday, September 24, 6:45PM, with a study of Isaiah.  This will be the Precept study.  You may choose either the regular study or the In and Out version.  Come out for a good time of fellowship around the Word of God.  Have questions?  Talk to Donna LaCroix.
