No evening Bible Study on Sunday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day.

LeaderTreks will be back among us this summer.  Six different youth groups are currently scheduled to be here between June 1 and August 2 to experience discipleship training and ministry in an urban setting.  Start praying for them and their leaders now. Vanessa Shanaman and Ember will be leading the teams in June.

DoorKeepers, make plans to be at the North Parkway property on Saturday, May 24, from 1 to 4 PM, for a fun and profitable afternoon of prepping hygiene kits for our Operation Christmas Child boxes this year.  Bring your own drink.  Some light snacks will be available.

 

Missions Moment: Child Evangelism Fellowhip of Memphis

“Thank you for spending such an imporatant time with our daughter.  She looks forward to Good New Club every week!”  This was a message from parents whose child has attended Good News Club every week during the school year.  And from a local elementary school principal, we received this message: “Your team has brought lots of joy to the students.  Thank you for sharing the Good News with them!”  With these and other testimonies, we are encouraged that the Good News of salvation continues to be effective in transforming lives!

In the coming months, hundreds more children will be hearing, seeing, and learning about God Himself while attending 5-Day Bible Club every day for a week this summer.  From all over the city and surrounding municipal areas, boys and girls will meet the most amazing friend, Jesus Christ, who wants to give them the most amazing gift—eternal life!  God’s Word can and is making an eternal change in the hearts and lives of every child, every day!

What a blessing for our staff to invest in the lives of 20 middle school and high school students who will attend Christian Youth in Action training.  These students will be equipped and encouraged in their own spiritual journey to teach God’s Word to the children in the 5-Day Bible Clubs.  Thank you for joining us through your continued financial and prayer support.
