No evening activities today in honor of Father’s Day.

During the months of June, July, and August, our young people are meeting on Sunday evenings, 5—6:15PM.  The DoorKeepers (grades 7 to 12) will be studying Is the Bible Reliable?  In this course, Dr. Stephen Meyer examines Scripture using archeological and documentary data that supports the factual accuracy of the Bible.  Our elementary school age students will be participating in an all-new missions emphasis program OCC Operatives.  We are off the weeks of June 15 and 22.  Programming will resume on June 29.

We can still use some help with snacks or light supper for our young people on the summer Sunday evenings.  There is a sign-up list in the lobby if you are willing to contribute.

Mark your calendars for July 25.  The entire church family is invited to a Family Movie Night and Ice Cream Social featuring The Forge. A year out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah Wright is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the biblical discipleship from his new mentor, prayers of his mother and a prayer warrior named Miss Clara, Isaiah begins to discover God’s purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine. From the Kendrick Brothers, the creators of the No. 1 hit WAR ROOM, comes THE FORGE, a faith-filled new movie with familiar friends and inspiring new twists.

Missions Moment: Mike DeLisle, Training Pastors International

As we reflect on all that God has done through Training Pastors International, our hearts are filled with deep gratitude—for Him and for you.  For the past 23 years, the Lord has faithfully sustained this ministry, equipping men across 17 countries with sound theological training at no cost to them.  That is no small thing—and we know it is only possible through His provision and the generosity of partners like you.  This year our students have shared the Gospel with more than 9,605 people, through which 1,457 professions of faith have been made.  These same students have preached 5,178 messages and discipled over 2,890 people. There have been 535 baptized, and 147 new churches have been planted.  We are praising the Lord for every soul reached with the Gospel.
