Gideon:
From Fear to Faith
taught
by Roy Flora from Hebrews 11:32; Judges 7—8
No children’s activities this evening as most
of our young people are at Camp Good News.
During the months of June, July, and August, our
young people are meeting on Sunday evenings, 5—6:15PM. The DoorKeepers (grades 7 to 12) are studying
Is the Bible Reliable? with Dr.
Stephen Meyer. Our elementary school age students will be participating in an
all-new missions emphasis program OCC Operatives. Programming will resume on June 29.
Our dear
friend Don LaCroix entered the Lord’s presence on Tuesday afternoon, June 17. He is rejoicing in the presence of our
Savior, but he will be greatly missed here on earth. The visitation and memorial service will be
held at Forest Hill Home & Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Road, on Thursday,
June 26. Visitation: 1:30PM Memorial Service:
2PM. Pray for comfort for Donna, Kyle, Ryan
and the rest of the family left behind.

Mark your calendars for July 25. The entire church family is invited to a
Family Movie Night and Ice Cream Social featuring The Forge. A year
out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah Wright is challenged by
his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course
for his life. Through the biblical discipleship from his new mentor, prayers of
his mother and a prayer warrior named Miss Clara, Isaiah begins to discover God’s
purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine. From
the Kendrick Brothers, the creators of the No. 1 hit WAR ROOM,
comes THE FORGE, a faith-filled new movie with familiar friends and
inspiring new twists.
We can still use some help with snacks or
light supper for our young people on the summer Sunday evenings. There is a sign-up list in the lobby if you are
willing to contribute.
