Back-to-School
We can still use some help with snacks or
light supper for our young people on the summer Sunday evenings. There is a sign-up list in the lobby if you
are willing to contribute.
We have new LeaderTreks leaders among us this
morning: Chaina and Katie will be serving here this week. Grace Brosi is also with us again. Pray for them to have an effective ministry
this week.
Your kind and thoughtful expression of
sympathy is deeply appreciated and gratefully acknowledged. Thank you for the prayers and support. I will never forget it. Donna
MISSIONS MOMENT with
Creig and Sherry Marlowe
As always abundant thanks for
all your support. The 1st half of June was occupied with the ETF Faculty
Retreat in Ghent, Belgium; then completing two on-line courses (OT Survey for
SITS in Ethiopia, and Biblical Hermeneutics for Asian students via ZSDS in CA).
For the rest of June, we were in Uppsala, Sweden, where Creig presented a paper
on Enoch (Gen. 5) at the joint meeting of the Society for Biblical Literature
and the European Association for Biblical Studies. For Summer vacation, Creig
is busy guiding a ThM thesis for a student in India; and designing a course on
“OT Poetry and Worship” for another school in India (via Theologians Without
Borders).
You can read the full update
on the hall bulletin board.
