Next Sunday is our special Missions-focus on Sunday.  Gary and Winnie Whitmore will be speaking during both the Sunday School hour and the morning service.  Additionally, we will have the opportunity to hear Antonia James, an Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipient from Belize, share how a simple shoebox gift opened her heart to the God who loves her.

Friday Fellowship for the month of August is this Friday, August 22.  It will be a potluck fellowship here at the church.  Following dinner, Steve and Gloria Dee plan to share about their trip to Egypt earlier this year, Lord willing.

The August Seasoned Saints Luncheon is coming up on Thursday, August 28.  Our seasoned saints won’t want to miss it.  Please RSVP to Judy Hearne this week.

MISSIONS MOMENT with Gary & Winnie Whitmore, TWR

During July, we made an almost 2,000-mile round trip drive to visit friends of TWR.  This allowed us to meet with a TWR donor in central Texas plus visit several along the way to and from our home.  The Lord has used us in the past few months to develop partnerships with TWR and churches to provide ministry to various places in the world: Afghanistan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.

Besides millions of people listening to TWR on radio, TWR is reaching many using new media.  There have been 30+ million views or listens of video or audio streams.  Plus, many more are being reached by the animated videos of TWR Motion now in 20 languages with 23 more in progress.  With the upholding of 110,000+ faithful intercessors in 125 countries, TWR Women of Hope continues to teach women with various ministries to reach them and help them with Biblical programs.
