During National Collection Week, Memphis Bible Church will serve as a drop-off location  for Operation Christmas Child.  We need volunteers to serve as hosts, greeters, unloaders, and cartonizers throughout the week.  We will be open 2-3 hours per day, November 17—24.  If you are ready to serve, please sign up for a shift or two or more on the clipboard in the lobby.  Must be 15 or older.

Next Sunday we will hear from our missionaries Creig and Sherry Marlowe.  Creig serves with Evangelical Theological Faculty in Belguim while Sherry serves with various ministries in the Netherlands.

MISSIONS MOMENT with Todd & Erika Carroll in Brazil

Praise: Todd’s wound from the basal cell carcinoma removal just this week completely closed and is healing.

Please pray as we teach students who are getting prepared to serve as missionaries. It is a very challenging one-year course on cross-cultural missions. Many students struggle with their families accepting their calling. Some are going to challenging places. We also mentor them’ please pray for wisdom. Also pray as I (Erika) am applying to further my studies at Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Biblical Counseling. It will be a great help for me to have this training as we deal with very sensitive issues with our students. Please pray for the Lord to help me to be wise with my time and also for Him to provide financially for my studies.

Brock & Heather Hower, Avant Ministries

We are planning on going to Mexico this coming week to visit the church in Amealco and attend a wedding of young people from the Seek First Leaders we had a ministry with. It will be a great time to connect, encourage and motivate. Please pray for safe travels, and that we would make great use of our limited time there to Glorify Him. Praise that Brock has been able to make good connections with workers throughout the world and security procedures are working well.
