Our weekly Bible club for children age 2 through twelfth grade

 

 

There will be no Adult Bible Study this evening.

 

We welcome our missionaries, Creig and Sherry Marlowe, who are visiting with us this weekend.  Those who attended Friday Fellowship enjoyed an early time of fellowship with them.

 

During National Collection Week, Memphis Bible Church will serve as a drop-off location  for Operation Christmas Child.  We need volunteers to serve as hosts, greeters, unloaders, and cartonizers throughout the week.  We will be open 2-3 hours per day, November 17—24.  If you are ready to serve, please sign up for a shift or two or more on the clipboard in the lobby.  Must be 15 or older.

 

The final Seasoned Saints luncheon of the year will take place this Thursday at 1PM.  If you are a seasoned saint, you won’t want to miss this time of fellowship.

Remember, there will be no Second Sunday lunch in November.  It will be replace by Thanksgiving Dinner on November 16.

 

We hope you have marked your calendars for November 1—this coming Saturday—and plan to participate in our final Operation Christmas Child packing party of the year.  Come out and help us pack 500 Gospel Opportunity shoeboxes to reach to the uttermost parts of the earth.  Financial support is also needed to provide for shipping, processing, and Gospel materials.  You can contribute through the offering by marking OCC on the memo line of your check.

 

Our church family mourns the passing of Owen Godby, father of Andrea Clapp.  Owen was an Elder at Evangel for many years until failing health prevented him from attending.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 1, at 11AM at Memphis Bible Church.

 

Jack Schaffler passed away last Saturday.  Jack was a regular attendee of our Sunday evening Bible study led by Roy Flora.  We will miss his presence with us.
